"Hi, my name is Andrea, and I am a terrible blogger." Ok, now that we've gotten that out of the way, Holy guacamole amigos! It's nice to see you all.
I have finally figured out why I can't get my act together. My life has been in a state of transition for nearly two years now. From moving out of my parents house, getting married and moving in with the hubby (God, was that a shock), being unemployed, finding a job and moving to another city, changing jobs again, separation, move out, reconciliation, move back in, and now trying to prepare to leave my job (that I LOVE) and MOVE (damn it) out of the country. The date of said move has changed two times. Right now I may be leaving sometime around the end of June!? The Government is run by flying monkeys...
All this crap has certainly taken a toll. I've gained 10 pounds, which is really noticeable on a 4'11 frame. I'm starting to look like a cupcake... My house is a mess, and I cannot function in clutter, which contributes to the fact that I haven't been sewing. Or doing much else for that matter.
This all has to stop! And I am taking steps to become a better blogger/person right now. Here is where you guys come in....Accountability! I know that I don't have a ton of readers, but I do have a few die hards (you guys rock!) who deserve a post more than once a quarter. But what if I have nothing to blog about? That is bull. Part of the reason I get nothing done is because I have too many hobbies. This blog is about to diversify. Sewing, baking, thrifting, makeup, gardening, weight loss, reading....are all things that are big in my life right now, so I might as well blog about them. Hopefully I won't bore you seamstresses with my non sewing posts.
I am still formulating my plan of attack, but you can expect a whole lot more action around here. Thanks for sticking around, and please pardon the dust while I renovate. :) Aloha all!
